Concering Prof. DeGenova's Comments

Suffice it to say that "freedom of speech" merely means that it would be improper for Prof. DeGenova to be arrested and charged under law for what he has done. We are not calling for this and neither is anyone else.
But it does not mean that treasonous extremists of the Left belong at Columbia any more than Holocaust deniers. Some values are evil and insane and do not belong at the university. (Who decides? The liberal administration never seems to have this qualm when suppressing conservative ideas.)
We are in contact with members of Congress and wealthy alumni on this issue. Our aim is to reduce the university's federal grants and alumni donations until it reforms. As evidenced by the university's caving to reason on military recruitment, money is the only language Low Library understands.
